I am currently studying for my Master’s degree in “Sustainability, Society and Environment” and as part of this I am attending a seminar that deals with socio-ecological conflicts. In particular, I am currently investigating the conflict in Yasuni National Park in Ecuador. My main focus is on the recognition of indigenous knowledge. In my research, I mainly draw on political ecology, extractivism and neo-extractivism as well as Buen Vivir.
Country/Region of interest/research focus: Ecuador with a focus on the “recognition of indigenous knowledges”
