Virginia Brenner Music
Virginia is currently pursuing a PhD at the Department of Environment, Development and Sustainability Studies at Södertörn University, Stockholm, Sweden. Her doctoral research explores contemporary environmental movements in the Western Balkans adopting an interdisciplinary approach to explore their role in facilitating stability and sustainable development pathways in the (post) conflict, post-socialist region. This work builds on her previous research conducted during her Master´s studies at Stockholm University, which explored a new generation of environmentalists in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Prior to academic career, she gained professional experience in the design and implementation of development and post-war reconstruction projects across the Western Balkans.
