Michael Klingler
Human geographer and Senior Scientist at the Institute of Sustainable Economic Development, BOKU University Vienna, Austria. His current research examines energy transitions through the lenses of energy geographies, political ecology, multidimensional justice, and multi-level governance, with a focus on contested land–energy relations across rural and urban contexts. He combines qualitative and mixed-methods approaches with knowledge co-creation and participatory research, working at the interface of academia, policy, and civil society.
