Last week we kicked off the very first ENJUST Regulars’ Table. A new space for exchange, short insights into ongoing projects, and connecting across the network. Many thanks to everyone who joined, and especially to the four presenters for sharing their inspiring work.
Highlights
- Tobias Müller introduced his book project Planetary Uprising, which examines the political thought emerging from Extinction Rebellion. His work explores global activist perspectives on anti‑extractivism, intersectional justice, and democratic transformation.
- Judith Bopp shared her research on organic farming practices and the interconnections between food, health, and ecology.
- Laura Curry, artist, educator, and researcher, presented projects at the intersection of environmental and social justice from feminist and queer perspectives. Website
- Ivan Ramírez discussed his work on climate–health intersections, social vulnerability, disaster risk reduction, and climate justice, with a focus on Latin America and underserved communities in the U.S.
Looking ahead
The next Regulars’ Table will take place in September 2026. Once again, four short presentation slots will be available, and all network members are warmly invited to participate or contribute.
Planning has also begun for the EnJust Conference 2027 in Kiel (29 September – 1 October). The working theme is Environmental Justice and the Public. More information will follow soon.
