

Adjunct Professor focusing on sustainability transformations at McGill University, Canada. An interdisciplinary researcher trained in education, Ying-Syuan Huang’s current research focuses on transformative and transdisciplinary research, research ethics governance, collective learning, and the institutional conditions that support socially engaged scholarship. She integrates perspectives from sustainability science, critical social science, research ethics, and higher education studies to examine how universities and researchers respond to climate, sustainability, and social justice challenges. Her further research and practice with the Transformations Community focuses on field-building, peer learning, and relational infrastructures that support transformative practice across diverse institutional and translocal contexts. Her work is situated primarily within translocal transdisciplinary research networks.
